Death toll rises in Mbale flooding

According to reports, at least 16 persons have died as a due of flooding and landslides caused by heavy  rain in the Bugisu and Sebei sub-regions. 11 bodies were discovered in a vehicle that was flashed into River Nabuyonga on Sunday morning. The deceased were travelling to an introduction ceremony before their vehicle was washed away by floods at the bridge By Monday morning , 16 bodies had already been located.
