Saudi Arabia: A woman dies after a failed “kidney surgery.”
It is thought that a 33-year-old woman who passed away three weeks after arriving in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, died after a botched kidney removal procedure by her employer.
Abdulrazik Juma, the woman’s husband, asserts that Rose Atieno called him in her final moments of suffering to tell him that she had been pressured by her employer to have surgery to have one of her kidneys removed so that it could be donated to a sick family member.

She entered Saudi Arabia on May 23, 2022, and on June 7, 2022, it was reported that she passed away.
“For more than three days, I couldn’t get in touch with her.
Five days after her cell phone had been turned off, she called me from a different number and revealed that she had been kidnapped and was being detained against her will at a nearby hospital in order to give her kidney “said he.
Juma asserts that after a while, she stopped hearing from his wife, and a friend told him that she had passed away in a hospital after supposedly falling off a ladder while washing windows at her employer’s home, Juma claims that she had not heard from his wife later on.
Juma stated that her body was received by the family after arriving in the nation on Tuesday evening via Moi International Airport.
“When the body arrived in the country and was taken home for the night vigil l had time to mourn my wife and looked closely at her body and found surgical healing marks on her stomach prove enough that she was operated on before she died in unclear circumstances,” he added.
