New Details Emerge On Entebbe Couple That Was Brutally Murdered Just After Returning From Germany

The quiet community of Lugonjo Nakiwogo Cell in Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso District, has been left in shock following the brutal murder of an elderly couple in their home. The victims, 69-year-old Mutaaga David and his 62-year-old wife, Mutaaga Deborah Florence, were found dead on the morning of 6th July 2025. Their lives were tragically cut short in what police are calling a double murder and suspected aggravated robbery.

The gruesome discovery was made after a worker at the couple’s home raised an alarm and alerted the authorities. Officers from the territorial police in Entebbe Division quickly responded to the scene. Upon entering the residence, they found the lifeless bodies of the couple, both bearing fatal stab wounds.

Crime scene investigators carried out a full examination of the area, gathering important evidence and documenting the scene. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the City Mortuary at Mulago for a postmortem, which is expected to provide more insight into the attack.

Several exhibits believed to be crucial to the investigation were recovered and are now being analyzed by forensic experts. While the motive behind this horrific crime remains unclear, police are working tirelessly to uncover the truth and bring those responsible to justice.
