Police have finally arrested Patricia Ssuuna, who had been on the run for several weeks following the death of her husband, Robert Mukwaya.

The incident happened in the middle of the night during a fight between the couple in their bedroom. It was around 3 a.m. when things turned tragic. The entire family and local community were left shocked and confused by what happened.

According to some of Mukwaya’s relatives, Patricia called them at 4 a.m., saying her husband had suddenly collapsed and she thought he had suffered a heart attack. Worried, the family rushed to the couple’s home. But what they found didn’t match Patricia’s story.

There were bloodstains in both the bedroom and the sitting room. Mukwaya was found lying on the floor unconscious. He was quickly taken to a nearby clinic in Sseguku, but sadly, doctors said he was already dead by the time he arrived.

Right after learning of his death, Patricia suddenly disappeared. It was later discovered that she had gone to her mother’s home in Kinaawa to hide. Her sudden disappearance made the situation even more suspicious, and people began to ask more questions about what really happened that night.

Police began looking for her immediately. After a while, Patricia turned herself in by handing over her young daughter to the police. After that, she was arrested. The child is now being cared for at Natete Police Station as the investigations continue.

Patricia and Mukwaya had been married since 2019 and had two children together. One of the children is just five months old.

However, it has come to light that Mukwaya had another wife named Nantogo Winnie. She was his first partner. Even though he was still married to her, Mukwaya had been spending most of his time with Patricia, his younger wife.

Some of Mukwaya’s family members think the fight may have started because of relationship problems, possibly linked to the fact that Mukwaya had two wives. However, official details have not been released yet.
