JUST IN!! Businessman Sudhir Ruparelia’s Only Son, Rajiv Mysteriously Dies In Deadly Car Accident
In a tragic turn of events, Rajiv Ruparelia, the son of Ugandan business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia, has died in a horrific car crash that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety, the fatal accident happened at approximately 1:54 AM at the Busabala Flyover traffic lights in Makindye-Ssabagabo, Wakiso District.
Rajiv was reportedly driving a Nissan GTR, registration number UAT 638L, en route from Kajjansi towards Munyonyo, when the vehicle crashed into temporary pavements at the roundabout section of the flyover.
Authorities say the impact caused the high-performance sports car to overturn and catch fire. Rajiv died on the spot, with investigators indicating that he was unable to escape the flames.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and officials are working to determine the factors that led to the deadly incident.
Rajiv, who had been active in managing various arms of the Ruparelia Group and was a known figure in both business and motorsport circles, was widely seen as the heir apparent to his father’s business empire.
Police spokesperson SP Kananura Michael confirmed the death in an official press statement and extended condolences to the Ruparelia family.
