Vianney Lugya Mpungu, Manager Public Relations Affairs at Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), clarified misconceptions surrounding the newly introduced parking rates. Mpungu clarified that some media outlets incorrectly reported the rates, leading to public confusion. He assured that UCAA aims to provide transparent and accurate information.
“Contrary to initial reports, the rates remain unchanged for certain categories and stakeholders. These include; Airport taxis, Civil Aviation Security and other officials that operate here, while others have been adjusted. Don’t be misled by the public and the wrong information being circulated on some social media platforms”.
UCAA’s Commitment:
“We are committed to ensuring smooth operations and enhancing passenger experience at Entebbe International Airport,” Mpungu stated. “We urge the public to disregard misleading information and follow our official communication channels for accurate updates.”
He advised passengers to verify parking rates and information through official UCAA channels or Entebbe International Airport’s website as they plan their journeys.
“The new rates aim to improve airport infrastructure, enhance security, and provide better services to passengers”
Here are some Traveler Tips:
