In a significant move for the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), General Secretary David Kabanda has announced a dynamic new leadership team poised to drive substantial changes in the Rwenzori Sub-Region. At the heart of this reshuffling, Godfrey Kabbyanga has been introduced the new Regional Coordinator, ushering in a new era of leadership and vision for the organization.

This leadership duo is set to spearhead initiatives aimed at fostering development, transparency, and socio-economic progress across the Rwenzori Sub-Region.

Joining Kabbyanga and Rwemulikya in their mission are a host of dedicated leaders including Mr. Hassan Baguma, appointed as Committee Secretary, and Mrs. Olivia Shabra, who will take on the role of Publicity Secretary. In a nod to the youth, Ms. Dauphine has been named the Youth Council Representative, underscoring the PLU’s commitment to inclusivity and diverse representation.

David Kabanda, in a statement highlighting the importance of these appointments, expressed his confidence in the new leadership. “This team embodies the principles of patriotism and is unwavering in our fight against corruption and the mismanagement of public funds,” he declared. Kabanda’s optimism is evident as he anticipates a transformative impact on the region’s development.

With this new leadership lineup, the PLU aims to invigorate its presence across Uganda, focusing on advancing good governance and ensuring accountability at every level. Kabanda envisions these leaders as pivotal in engaging the community, driving socio-economic transformation, and fostering a culture of transparency and integrity in the Rwenzori Sub-Region.

As the PLU embarks on this renewed journey, the appointment of these capable individuals’ promises to usher in a wave of positive change, aligning with the organization’s mission to strengthen governance and enhance regional development.
