VIDEO: Over 30 Teenagers Nabbed Having A House Party In Bukoto, Spend A night Behind Bars

Police at Kira Road on Thursday  carried out an operation in the area of Bukoto and arrested over 30 teenagers, who were having a party in a friend’s house. 

According to Luke Owoyesigyire the Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, the arrests came as a result of the public complaining about a group of teens over 100, who had gathered in one house and were making too much noise for the community.  

He says an operation was mounted and many of them were arrested and exhibits recovered (sisha pots and alcohol).

“Others escaped and in the process destroyed property” said Owoyesigyire  

He said the teenagers were today cautioned after the police engagement with their parents and released unconditionally. 

“We want to urge parents to at all time make sure their children are safe and are not engaging in any criminal activities” Owoyesigyire added
