Muyanga Lutaaya Bounces Back! Set to Start Work at Balam’s Radio 4 103.3 FM

Celebrated media personality and FDC stalwart Sir. Simon Muyanga Lutaaya is set to start work at Balam’s Radio 4 103.3 FM starting Monday 1st June 2020.

Muyanga’s show dubbed ‘Gwe Nsonga’ will air on Ntinda based Radio 4 Ensunsuzi from Monday to Friday between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm where he will host popular analysts and media personalities. The radio show that will discuss the politics of the common man will be streamed live on Muyanga’s and Radio 4’s social media platforms.

Muyanga, a former host of the popular ‘One on One with Tamale Mirundi’ and ‘NBS Eagle’ resigned from NBS TV a year ago to concentrate on his media consultancy, journalism school in Jinja and agriculture.

His absence from the public eye didn’t go unnoticed as people kept asking what he was up to. Many speculated that Muyanga was preparing himself for the forthcoming political season. There were even rumours that the no nonsense Tamale Mirundi had taken Muyanga to State House, a claim Muyanga passionately denied. Muyanga was even in the past linked to a move to NTV which he came out to deny on his Twitter handle @muyangalutaaya.

Muyanga’s Journalism Journey

Muyanga started his journalism career in 1998 as a correspondent for Ngabo and Njuba Times newspapers. He had a stint at CBS FM before going to Jinja based Kiira FM in 2002 and NBS FM in 2003. Jinja based NBS FM is owned by NRM stalwart Hon. Nathan Igeme Nabeeta. Sir. Simon Muyanga Lutaaya would later return to CBS FM in 2004 before joining NBS TV in 2007 where he served under different capacities until his resignation in January 2019.

About Sir. Simon Muyanga Lutaaya

Muyanga Lutaaya, the media personality we know today graduated as a teacher from Makerere University but eventually took on journalism. Muyanga unsuccessfully stood for MP for Bulamogi County in Kaliro District in 2016 on the FDC ticket. A close friend of Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye, Muyanga crossed from DP to FDC where he swears his allegiance to date.
