Fresh Details Emerge!! CCTV Footage Reveals Clues in Shocking Entebbe Murder

The calm and quiet town of Entebbe is now filled with sadness and fear after the shocking murder of an elderly couple, David Mutaaga (69) and his wife Florence Mutaaga (62). The couple, who had returned to Uganda from Europe just three years ago, were found brutally killed in their home in Lugonjo on a Sunday night. This heartbreaking incident has left many in the community mourning, but there is new hope as police say they are close to finding the killer.

According to the police, strong evidence has been found that could help solve the case. CCTV cameras that were installed at the couple’s home recorded a suspect entering and leaving the house around 9:30 PM, which is believed to be the time the crime happened. Although the suspect’s face was partly covered, experts are now working on the footage to make the image clearer and hopefully identify the person.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Luke Owoyesigyire, confirmed that the suspect was captured on video. “The home had CCTV cameras, which captured the suspect. We are now working on the images to clearly see his face,” he told reporters.

Investigators believe the suspect may have climbed into the house using a nearby avocado tree. He might have entered through a broken window or by removing some roof tiles. After committing the crime, the suspect reportedly walked out through the main gate. Police also collected fingerprints from the scene, which are now being tested to find out if the suspect had been in the house before.

David and Florence were loved by many in the Lugonjo community. They were known for their kindness and generosity. They helped poor families and paid school fees for children in need. Their deaths have not only brought fear but also deep pain to neighbors and those who benefited from their good hearts.

Police are now also questioning the couple’s two househelps, who were present at the home earlier that day. Investigators are carefully reviewing several months of CCTV footage to look for any strange or suspicious behavior that might lead to a breakthrough in the case.

With this new evidence, many believe the police are on the right path. The whole community is watching and waiting, hoping that the killer of the kind and generous Mutaagas will be found and justice will be served.
