NRM delegates from the Rwenzori Region have given their support to David Calvin Echodu for the role of NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda. The announcement was made during a meeting at Tropical Gardens Hotel in Kyenjojo District. Delegates from both Kyenjojo and Kyegegwa districts attended.

Echodu thanked the delegates for their support and trust. He also praised President Yoweri Museveni for bringing peace and development to Uganda. Echodu said he wants to add new energy and unity to the NRM party and work closely with all members.
He called on party mobilizers to stay active and involved. He promised to offer more training and support for NRM workers and to strengthen party offices from the village to district levels.
Echodu also talked about the importance of financial support. He said he will work to improve access to loans for young people and small businesses. He ended by promising to return after the elections to thank the delegates and continue working with them.
