“Hooligans Have No Space In Our Politics” Muhoozi Roars

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Uganda, has made a powerful statement, saying the army will continue to protect the country and make sure peace and order are maintained. He made the remarks through a post on X (formerly Twitter), where he thanked President Yoweri Museveni for guiding the military.

“I thank our respected and brave Commander-in-Chief, H.E. Museveni, for his wise advice to the High Command and Defence Council,” Muhoozi wrote. “We will never allow hooligans and puppets to come anywhere near power. We are going to SMASH them once and for all.”

General Muhoozi’s message comes after recent meetings held by the High Command and the Defence Council. In those meetings, the country’s top military leaders discussed Uganda’s security strategy and plans to protect national interests.

His statement shows that the army is still focused on keeping peace in Uganda, making sure the Constitution is followed, and stopping anyone who tries to disrupt how the country is governed.

As Uganda gets closer to another round of national elections, the army leadership says it is ready to continue its role in ensuring calm and order throughout the country.

Since becoming the head of the armed forces, General Muhoozi has focused on discipline within the army, modernizing equipment and training, and staying loyal to both the Constitution and the President, who is also the Commander-in-Chief.

Muhoozi’s recent words send a clear message that the military will stand firm against any attempts to cause instability or take power through unlawful means.
