Yesterday, the Director of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) addressed over 1,200 students at LDC Uganda, delivering a powerful lecture on the crucial role of young people in shaping the country’s future. His talk focused on the strong connection between strategic security, law and order, and socio-economic development.
He reminded students that Uganda’s growth depends on the active participation of the youth. By understanding the importance of security and law enforcement, young people can help build a stable and safe society. The Director explained that protecting the country and promoting development go hand in hand—security creates the foundation for progress, while a thriving economy strengthens peace and order.
The lecture inspired students to take responsibility and be part of the change. The Director encouraged them to contribute their talents, ideas, and energy to national priorities.
