Namboole Stadium Prepares for Uganda Cranes vs Senegal!! Fans Urged to Arrive Early

Kampala authorities are putting in place strong security measures to ensure a safe and successful match between Uganda Cranes and Senegal at Namboole Stadium on August 23, 2025. Security personnel will be stationed on all routes leading to the stadium, and tight controls will be maintained throughout the Kampala Metropolitan area. Fans are encouraged to plan their journey early, particularly those traveling on the Jinja-Kampala Highway and nearby areas, to avoid delays.

Stadium gates will open at midday, and supporters are advised to arrive early to prevent long queues. To manage traffic, boda boda riders will face cut-off points: riders from the city center along Jinja-Kampala Highway will stop at Banda, while those from the Jinja side will be cut off at Kazinga Bweyogerere. These measures aim to keep the roads around the stadium organized and safe.

Fans without tickets are reminded not to come to the stadium, as no tickets will be sold on match day. Make sure to secure your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Authorities also warn fans with health conditions to take care, as excitement or stress during the match could worsen certain medical issues. Previous games have seen fans faint or require medical help, so caution is advised for those with heart problems or other underlying conditions.

With these arrangements, officials hope that everyone will enjoy the thrilling match between Uganda Cranes and Senegal safely. Following security instructions, arriving early, and planning ahead will help ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all fans.
