What started as an ordinary day in Munyonyo turned into a scene that has left many Ugandans talking. Popular musician Weasel Manizo, whose real name is Douglas Mayanja, is in the hospital after an argument with his partner, Sandra Teta, took a dramatic and painful turn.
According to witnesses, the couple got into a heated quarrel outside Shan’s Bar & Restaurant. In the middle of the disagreement, Teta reportedly tried to drive away. But Weasel stepped in front of her car, possibly to stop her from leaving. In the confusion, the car hit him, knocking him to the ground.
The impact left Weasel with a fractured limb and other injuries. He was rushed to Nsambya Hospital, where doctors say he is now waiting for surgery. Despite the seriousness of the incident, Sandra Teta was later released on police bond while investigations continue.
