The United forums of bloggers from Busoga Subregion have voted embattled Lands,Housing and Urban Development State Minister Princess Percis Namuganza Minister of the year 2022 closely followed by Museveni’s Deputy Press Secretary Farouk Kirunda as most outstanding personality of the year.
Under their umbrella Busoga Bloggers Association, the online users voted General Duties Minister and former NRM Secretary General most inspirational woman while Palisa District RDC Majid Dhikusoka is best performing in the RDCs category.
The investor of the year award is held by Busoga Kingdom 2nd Deputy Premier Dr.Mohammed Lubega who early last month won the national chairmanship of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council. Lubega owns the best nursing and midwifery institute located in Iganga and a splash crib in Jinja City among others.
Jinja East MP Nathan Igeme is considered most disciplined politician in the region for his none – aligned stance in many of the scandals in the region.
The Busoga Bloggers List has 41 outstanding personalities that include Police’s James Mubi,Busoga One Radio Station and NBS radio’s Batala Erusania as best News Reporter.
At the awards,Baba Media Group scooped the lion share showing its increasing influence in the region.
Out of 43 personalities, six voted best in different categories belong to the giant media group.
They include Sir Simon Muyanga Lutaaya ( The Big Story) Best inspirational speaker,Ibrahim Shamiru Byakika (Omunaala) Best Radio Presenter,Swengere (Baba fm) Comedian of the year,Ramachandran Ssenyonga (Baba TV) News Editor of the year and Wicky Wicky as best DJ of 2022.
