Nabwiso faces Mr. Meddy Mbentyo a District councilor in Jinja, Mr.Talugende Moses an accountant who have expressed interest in the FDC flag for the same seat.

Later, he could face NRM’s Robert Kanusu and the interim City Mayor Majid Batambuze among others.
Dr. Nabwiso will be the most senior leader in the mayoral race should former mayor turned Ambassador Mohammed Basware Kezaala decline to contest.

Residents hail him for being mature enough and dedicated to pioneer city leadership.
