The Kyabazinga of Busoga His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV has on 28th, January 2023 launched the kindergarten section at New Life schools in Buwaida village in Buyende district.
His Majesty also broke the ground for the construction of a multimillion upper sections stored building which include primary and secondary.

Prior to the Kyabazinga’s arrival, Busoga Kingdom Prime Minister Owek. Muvawala Joseph Nsekere, launched the Nakabira SACCO at Nakabira trading centre and also launched a road project.
The Kyabazinga arrived in a convoy at the venue at 1:00pm and was welcomed by Owek. Muvawala who was flanked by Dr. Wandera Richmond of New Life Church, Eng. Isabirye Gerald and Owek. Kiirya Ivan the Minister of State for Finance in Busoga Kingdom.
The Monarch was led to a guided tour of the kindergarten section where he interacted with some of the pupils in class and their teachers.
In his speech, the Kyabazinga who is also the Patron of New Life Schools Buwaida narrated to his subjects about how the idea of starting the school was reached in Buwaida.
He said that school going children used to trek a distance of five kilometers to go to the nearby school and this is one of the many reasons that were based on to establish New Life Schools.
The Kyabazinga implored leaders in Buyende to support the New Life Schools projects in order to uplift the academic performances in the district.
Busoga Kingdom’s Prime Minister Owek. Muvawala Joseph introduced some of the Royal Chiefs who attended the ceremony.

The lead pastor of the Kampala based New Life Church, Dr. Wandera Richmond, said that New Life Schools Buwaida is a community school that seeks to provide quality education to vulnerable children in dignifying environment adding that the vision of the school is to train a generation of Godly leaders who will serve nations.
The Executive Director of New Life Schools Buwaida, Eng. Isabirye Gerald said that their education model is in line with the Ugandan curriculum adding that they will teach everything as required by the government.
Eng. Isabirye said the kindergarten will start with 150 pupils when the school term starts and these will include 50 in the Baby class, 50 in middle and 50 in the Top class and that they will not have a specific uniform.
He mentioned some of the challenges that include water and electricity and called upon district leaders to support management of the school in solving them.
Present at the ceremony was the Issabalangira of Busoga Samuel Zirabamuzale Menhya, Busoga Kingdom’s Speaker George Mutyabule, Busoga Kingdom’s Permanent Secretary Godfrey Samanya Sajjabi, Kingdom Ministers, Members of Parliament, Buyende L.C 5 Michael Kanaku, Buyende RDC and other leaders among others.
