A major search and rescue operation is underway in the English Channel following the capsizing of a migrant boat off the coast of Le Portel in northern France. French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin reports that at least 12 people have been confirmed dead, with two still missing and several others injured. The total number of individuals aboard the vessel at the time of the incident remains unknown. The French authorities are working intensively to locate and assist any survivors as the search continues.
