Members of Parliament (MPs) from Uganda\u2019s ruling party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM), have been called to attend a very important meeting. This meeting will take place at State House Entebbe on Monday, May 19, 2025, starting at exactly 2:00 PM.<\/p>\n
The announcement was made on Thursday, May 15, by the Government Chief Whip, Hon. Denis Hamson Obua. He said the meeting was not just a usual gathering\u2014it is being held on the orders of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is also the NRM National Chairperson.<\/p>\n
In a short but serious message, Hon. Obua said that every NRM MP must attend in person, with no exceptions.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a directive from the NRM National Chairperson. All members must attend. The official notice will follow in due course,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Although the official program or agenda for the meeting has not been shared with the public, the way the message was delivered has caused a lot of interest and questions among politicians and citizens alike.<\/p>\n
