A serious fire has hit the Namuninge community in Kiranga Parish, Buyinda Sub County, Kaliro District. The fire started when unknown people set fire to a hut at the home of a man called Kanuna. The fire burned everything to ashes and caused great loss.<\/p>\n
Aidha Nabaigwa, Kanuna’s wife, said they lost 6 goats, 30 chickens, 2 bags of groundnuts, jerricans, and many other household items in the fire. She asked for help from kind-hearted people.<\/p>\n
Local leaders have spoken out against the incident. LC1 Chairperson Batwabula Franco and Women PWD Councilor Namufumba Jamira condemned the act. They asked the community to show kindness and support each other, especially during hard times.<\/p>\n
