In a significant move toward strengthening ties between the Buganda Kingdom and the legal fraternity, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga met with newly elected Uganda Law Society (ULS) President Isaac Ssemakadde. The meeting took place during the inauguration of the Buganda Youth Council’s new Executive Committee under the Nkobazambogo National Association.<\/p>\n
Announcing the encounter via his official X platform, Mayiga expressed optimism about future collaboration, particularly in areas concerning justice and human rights.<\/p>\n
“Today, I had the honor of hosting Isaac Ssemakadde, the newly elected ULS President, as he joined the Buganda Youth Council at the inauguration of the Nkobazambogo Executive Committee,” Mayiga wrote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
