Speaking at the announcement, Sadek highlighted the EU\u2019s commitment to strengthening Uganda\u2019s tourism infrastructure and marketing efforts.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOur support will not only improve Uganda\u2019s visibility in Europe but also ensure that the tourism industry grows sustainably, benefiting both local communities and the environment,\u201d Sadek said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This financial injection comes at a crucial time as Uganda seeks to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which severely affected the tourism industry. The EU&#8217;s pledge is expected to help restore Uganda&#8217;s position as a premier destination for eco-tourism, adventure, and wildlife experiences.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Uganda Tourism Board, the initiative will also create opportunities for collaboration between European travel companies and local tourism operators, ensuring long-term growth and increased tourist arrivals.
